Machining Process of Connecting Rods:

• Precision machining: Blanks are obtained by free forging or stamping, and after that they undergo precision machining, such as milling, drilling, boring and grinding.

• Quality control: To ensure that dimensions, flatness and surface adhere to standards, each connecting rod undergoes quality checks.

• Balancing: IQM performs the balancing of connecting rods in accordance with the customer’s specifications.

• Surface finish: a shot-peening treatment can be carried out in our plant to improve fatigue strength.

• Packaging and delivery: To avoid damage, connecting rods are carefully packed and delivered to customers, to be integrated into engines or industrial applications.
